About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree from New York University and a post-graduate training degree in Psychodynamic Psychoanalysis from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.

Throughout my career working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, I have gained vast experience working with women, men, and teens who experience mental health disorders, family conflict, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, bereavement, and trauma.

My specialty and area of expertise is in working with women facing reproductive and maternal mental health challenges. I help women in all phases of the reproductive spectrum from TTC (trying-to-conceive), to pregnancy, to the adjustment to new parenthood. I also support women and their families as they work through postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, birth trauma and PTSD, infertility, pregnancy loss (miscarriage), and stillbirth.

I am a certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C). This means that I have extensive experience working in the field of Maternal Mental Health and have completed advanced study and training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Perinatal Grief and Loss and Reproductive Mental Health. My training is from Postpartum Support International (PSI), The Seleni Institute for Women’s Mental Health, The Postpartum Stress Center, Adelphi University’s Institute for Parenting and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).

I am very passionate about what I do, and I find it a true privilege to have individuals share their life experiences with me. I am currently accepting new clients, and I warmly welcome you to call or e-mail me for a free phone consultation.
